"Golf Society Memorial Day - June 2015. "...It was a massive success. Couldn't be more delighted. I estimated we would raise around £500-£600 and we raised double that. Moreover, the competition was won by Ricky's brother who also got a hole in one on the 3rd on the Friday. Definitely had Ricky helping with that one...and it was nearest the pin :) The presentation went very well, got a tad emotional at one stage but was a very memorable event so yes, I'm delighted! Thanks again for your help and advice in arranging this. Food was spot on, no complaints. The overnight Saturday Guests really enjoyed it and were very impressed with their rooms. I think it was different to what they expected, so made for a nice chance, but yes they were all very happy. Golf went very well, other than a 10 minute downpour on the Saturday, everyone enjoyed the golf. Course was in superb condition. We're looking at next year already; a few have asked me to consider a trip abroad, which I've suggested we don't do, but we'll have a decision in a few weeks so if we do it here, we'll definitely come back to Lakeside Lodge! I've attached a group photograph for you in case you wanted to include it on a testimonial type section of your webpage. Thanks again. Paul ""
